Approach

Therapy helps us identify patterns to avoid old setbacks and make choices that are aligned with our true wants, needs, and values. We do this by examining a range of variables, including: symptoms, behavior patterns, relationship and family dynamics, aspirations, and apprehensions. Heightened awareness leads to a more empowered understanding of ourselves and others, which helps us live up to our full potential - becoming better friends, more confident parents, more stable partners and more productive, fulfilled members of society.  


In-Person Sessions

Sessions are 45 minutes and usually occur weekly or bi-weekly in my Manhattan or Brooklyn office.  My Manhattan office is located at Alma. My Brooklyn office is in Carroll Gardens, one block from the Carroll St F/G.


Walking Sessions

In warm months, I offer walking sessions in Washington Square Park and Central Park, which may appeal to clients with physical activity goals or preferences. We'll stroll at a pace determined by the client; 45 minutes per session. 


Virtual Sessions

Video and phone sessions are also available.
